Halloween Lantern Cake *

This cake bears an uncanny resemblance to a lantern right down to the "handle" and sprinkling of gold dust on top. Made of moist pumpkin cake filled with mini chocolate chips, layered with dark chocolate mousse, and frosted with vanilla buttercream, it's wrapped entirely in black- and orange-tinted white chocolate with bat and star cutouts. Sure to light up any Halloween gathering.
